How do I motivate my child to learn?

This question is too difficult for me.

This is too hard.

Can we do something else?

If this is what your child is saying, maybe we have yet to understand the way they learn. As teachers and parents, we have to help them to identify the way they learn.

If you know how they learn, you will be able to tailor how you teach or help them to their learning styles. If your child knows how they learn, they will also take ownership of their own learning and communicate this to their teacher and parents.

If your child lacks motivation, chances are, there's a mismatch in how he or she learns and how he or she is being taught in school. Personalized teaching in smaller groups would be effective as the tutor can incorporate more flexibility and teach in a way he or she learns best.
